Our Athlone Childcare facility opened in 2004. We are just 5 minutes outside Athlone town in Cloghanboy Estate near exit 10. Busy Kids Athlone is managed by Laura Garvey. Laura has been working at Busy Kids since 2017 and has excellent knowledge and experience in childcare.

Busy Kids Athlone have previously been awarded the Excellence Ireland Quality Associations standard for childcare and have been nominated for many awards including being nominated for an award in Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility cateogry at the 2018 Athlone Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Busy Kids Athlone is a two story building with separate rooms for Babies, Toddlers, Wobblers, Preschoolers, 2 ECCE classes and an Afterschool Room. A visit to Busy Kids Athlone will show the commitment to quality childcare and facilities. We currently employ 25 professionals from a Chef to Level 9 Early Childhood Educators. All of our childcare team have All staff are trained in First Aid, Moving and Lifting, Child Protection, Risk Assessment and a recognisable childcare qualification in Ireland.

Busy Kids Athlone has an outdoor soft surface playground seperated for older and younger children. CCTV operates throughout to ensure children’s safety and also reassuring parents.

Busy Kids Athlone operates a supervised local school drop off and collection service, which takes some of the stress out of the working parent’s day. Children are given a helping hand with their homework.

We also offer extra activities by outside agencies such as gymboree, stretch and grow, kids speech and drama and Yoga. Such actvities are subject to demand.

Busy Kids Athlone offer care to suit your child’s needs including participation in the Free Pre-school Year Scheme (ECCE) offering morning and afternoon sessions.
