ECCE

Busy Kids hold ECCE as one of the most important stages in children’ development. Busy Kids ECCE teachers are fully trained early childhood educators and committed to the development of each child’s individual personality and each class room equipped to the highest standard.

Our ECCE class-room is a area for children where they choose their work from among self correcting materials displayed on open shelves in specific work areas where the child will enjoy both a structured and free play based curriculum. They will be encouraged to participate in all the activities the room has to offer, such as: art and craft, messy play, cookery etc. as well as outdoor play.

ECCE is a comprehensive educational approach based on the observation of children’s needs; it invites children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of a fully trained teacher children in Early Childhood Education each child will learn by making discoveries with materials, such as cultivating concentration, motivation, self discipline and a love of learning. It covers 5 main areas: Practical life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Cultural activities.

On completion of the ECCE class (September to June) each child take great pride in a graduation ceremony with singing that they put on for their parents/guardians. There is great anticipation and excitement leading up to the Graduation Ceremony and parents and teachers are so proud when their children put on their caps and gowns and receive their Graduation Scroll and make a leap towards “big school”

What is the ECCE scheme?
